And even if overseas fruits regularly appear on your table, it is not always good for the kid. Refuse to experiment at least for the time of breastfeeding.
- Citruses. Doctors do not recommend to eat any citrus fruits during breastfeeding. From the word at all. A high content of vitamin C can provoke a strong diathesis in a child. Blackberry. You can nursing mom, but with caution. A high content of vitamin C can provoke an allergy in a baby. But the constituents of potassium and folic acid are very useful in the very first months of a child’s life.
Bananas. Despite the fact that this fruit is exotic, it can be eaten from the first days of breastfeeding. Studies have shown that bananas are hypoallergenic. And the child will not be harmed.
The only caveat: the fruits have some consolidating effect. Therefore, be careful if your baby or you have constipation. And do not overeat. Pairs of pieces per day will be sufficient.
Melon and watermelon. They help nursing mother and baby to normalize the water-salt balance in the body. But very small doses are recommended. Because the likelihood of edema.
And further. It is desirable that melons were own production. Because in the purchase of melons and watermelons, it is often overwhelming the content of nitrates and pesticides.If on your site such melons do not grow, then it is better to refrain from eating for the period of breastfeeding.

Grapes But it can be eaten during breastfeeding. But only white or green. About blue, red and black will have to forget. And of course not with basins or bowls. It should start with a few berries a day.
Council Do not eat grapes like dessert to the main meal. This can cause colic in a baby. Eat berries as a separate dish. And do not forget to rinse your mouth.Because grape juice perfectly erodes tooth enamel.
Or maybe juice?
Some mommies completely refuse to eat fresh fruit during breastfeeding. They prefer to drink juices. In principle, such an alternative takes place, but under certain conditions. Do not replace live fruit with store juices and nectars in boxes. From this drink there is little left. And it is unlikely to be a good replacement.
Per day it is enough to drink no more than 200 ml of natural freshly squeezed juice. Because in this situation it is difficult to control the dosage. With fruit easier. I ate an apple and you know for sure. And the juice can be made from a whole bowl of apples.
Another significant disadvantage of any juices is the lack of coarse fiber. Therefore, intestinal peristalsis of a nursing mother and baby does not work as well as it could. Various disorders can occur, constipation can occur. But there is a way out. Just make yourself juices with pulp, and the problem will be eliminated.
Or even dried fruits?
Many more dried fruits can cause constipation in crumbs. This, too, is undesirable? If you really want it, then dry the fruits yourself. And it can only be apples, green grapes, bananas. Others are not recommended at all.
